1. Scope and operator
This policy applies to the FormMemento browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. FormMemento is published by EinstineWrites, an independent software studio operated by Saad Zahid in Pakistan. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@einstinewrites.com.
2. Information processed
When you explicitly choose Save, FormMemento reads visible labels and completed values from the open Google Form and creates a named profile. When you explicitly choose Fill, it compares that profile with visible questions and fills matching answers. This processing occurs in your browser.
Profiles can contain personal information if you place personal information in a form. FormMemento does not transmit those profiles to EinstineWrites or a third party.
3. Information deliberately excluded
FormMemento does not capture file-upload inputs or password inputs. It also excludes questions whose labels appear to request passwords, passcodes, PINs, one-time codes, payment-card details, security codes, bank-account details, routing numbers, or social-security numbers.
This automated detection is a safety aid rather than a guarantee. Do not save confidential, financial, authentication, health, government-identifier, or other highly sensitive information in any autofill tool.
4. Storage and retention
Profiles and one small preference are stored in the browser's local extension storage. The beta does not use cloud sync. A profile remains until you delete it, delete all profiles, clear the extension's storage, or uninstall the extension according to browser behaviour.
5. Sharing, sale, analytics, and advertising
FormMemento does not sell or share saved profile information, does not use it for advertising or credit decisions, and contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. The extension does not use remote code.
6. Browser permissions
- Storage: saves profiles and a preference locally in the browser.
- Google Forms access: lets FormMemento read or fill visible questions at your explicit request. It is not injected on unrelated websites.
7. Your controls
You can rename or delete individual profiles, delete all profiles, export a JSON backup, or import a supported backup from the profile manager. Exported files can contain personal answers and should be stored securely. FormMemento never clicks a form's Submit button; you remain responsible for reviewing and submitting the form.
8. Children
FormMemento is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. The publisher does not knowingly collect children's information through the extension because saved profiles are not transmitted to the publisher.
